Sphalerite (blende) and Smithsonite pseudomorphosis, Vaulnaveys, Isère.

350,00

Large piece showing a pseudomorphosis of pinkish, mamelonated smithsonite over black sphalerite (blende) and quartz.

A very large mineralogical specimen for this deposit located on the heights of Vaulnaveys, near Vizille in Isère, where iron ore was mined as siderite. An interesting alpine specimen.
