Large prismatic single crystal of Zircon with a vitreous waxed luster, of brown color going from brown-yellow to brown-red.

From Benono, a small village near the site of the former village of Itrongay now called Tongay. About 1-2 km from the village there is a mining area that has produced scapolites, zircons, kornerupines, spinels and beryls.

The label provided with us indicates that the sample was referenced in 1962 by the previous collector.
