Large crystal of clear and very bright orange-pink topaz on white albite slides from the Shigar valley, Shardu district, Baltistan, Pakistan. The crystal is 4.2 cm in its large diagonal, 3 cm high and 2.9 cm wide. It is arranged on a fan of white albite.

The typical faces of the topaz are well expressed and the whole is perfectly aesthetic. Specimen glued on hollowed out acrylic block. A very high quality piece.
