Description

Exceptional set of quartz carbon crystals (black shale inclusions) on gangue, from Val Vals in Graubünden, Switzerland.

Very slender quartz crystals, well-proportioned whole. One tip is broken. The back of the specimen is partially crystallized. Some crystals have a muzo habitus (three faces at the end).
