Quartz, rutile ps anatase, Notre-Dame-du-Cruet, Savoie.

120,00

A quintessential Lauzière mineralogy specimen! An 8mm rutile pseudomorphosed anatase sits atop a limpid quartz crystal with a very airy architecture and beautiful brown chlorite inclusions. The original shape of the anatase crystal remains preserved and silvery.
The sample comes from the Notre-Dame-du-Cruet alpine cracks in the Lauzière massif on the Maurienne side of the Savoie department.
