Description
Superb hyaline biterminated quartz crystal from Corinto, Brazil. The nearest quartz-producing locality to Corinto is the village of Tomas Gonzaga, a few kilometers to the west.
Specimens from other parts of this sandstone region are often referred to as Corinto.
In Corinto, the quartz industry is more than a century old.
