Partial, tabular crystal of gray-green, translucent baryte with sharp edges. Belgian specimen from the Lompret quarry, near Chimay.

The quarry exploits Frasnian limestone and shale for the production of aggregates for road paving and concrete. There are Frasnian fossils, calcite, baryte and galena.
