Exceptional set of quartz carbon crystals (black shale inclusions) on gangue with a four-centimetre mâcle from La Gardette (Japan-law twin).

Very slender quartz crystals, well-proportioned whole. The back of the specimen is partially crystallized. Some crystals have a muzo habitus (three faces at the end).

Extremely rare piece from Val Vals in the Grisons region of Switzerland.
