65,00

Good, very bright octahedral magnetite crystals, associated with fine pinkish crystals of what appears to be quartz, from Cerro Huanaquino in Bolivia. Classic for the deposit, but remarkable for the mineral species.

Cerro Huanaquino is the eroded remnant of a dacite laccolith. The foothills feature multicoloured marls and sediments similar to the Miraflores formaton.

Several localities produce remarkable octahedral magnetite crystals.
