Green fluorite (Fluorine), Boltry quarry, Seilles, Belgium.

35,00

Fluorite crystal with excellent transparency and a beautiful green “melted” color, to be admired in the right light. The crystal is cleaved, but nicely cleaved!

The colors are really perfect.

A particular area of the Boltry quarry yielded this type of specimen in the 1950s/1970s. It’s long gone.

This discovery is world-famous for the variety of colors of its fluorite masses, and the transparency of its cores, which can often be used to cut stones.

From the Boltry (Carmeuse) quarry in Seilles, Belgium.
