Enargite and pyrite, Colorado, USA.

65,00

Enargite is a copper arsenio-sulfide, so it’s logical that it should be associated with pyrite, which is an iron sulfide. Here it is expressed as an octahedron, with the same patina as certain Peruvian deposits.

Enargite crystals stand out well on the sample, with one crystal predominating. The crystal-forming base is none other than massive pyrite.

This sample comes from the North American state of Colorado.
