Nice green emerald (a gemstone) crystals, sometimes gemmy, sometimes stony in a corked test tube, and coming from the Urals in Russia. About twenty crystals/chips.

Sample coming from the old stock of the Royat cuttery in the Puy de Dôme (XIXth century).

The first emeralds were discovered in 1830 in the Svredlovsk region, formerly called Ekateninburg, on the eastern side of the Urals.
