Eleonorite and Wavellite, Polk county, Arkansas, USA.

35,00

Eleonorite is a mineral obtained by the oxidation of berunite, itself a secondary species found in peat bog iron ores and as a cement in clays, sands and bones; also as an alteration product of triphylite in granitic pegmatites.

It appears here in radiating, reddish aggregates. A nice contrast with the green wavellite.

From Polk County, Arkansas, Usa.
