Blue fluorite from the Burc mine (at the Burg, Tarn, France)

3500,00

Exceptional plate of blue fluorite crystals from the Burc mine (mining concession of the Burc), located near the farm of the Burg, in the Tarn.

The blue color is intense. The fluorite cubes are distributed in the quartz crystals. The back the the piece also has crystals (but it is less beautiful).

Pieces of this size are uncommon, they were difficult to extract of geodes, and especially to sneak out of the mine… This piece almost always has a few damaged cubes, but it is still a major specimen of Burc fluorite.

Former collection.
