Azurite pseudomorphosed into malachite, Tsumeb, Namibia.

45,00

Large crystal of azurite entirely pseudomorphosed by malachite.

One recognizes perfectly the facies of the azurite under this intense green proper to the malachite. There is also some very blue azurite on the back of the specimen.

This typical sample comes from the famous (now closed) Tsumeb mine in Namibia, which provided a wealth of mineral species of often unparalleled quality.
