Description
Superb, very brilliant hyaline biterminated quartz (rock crystal) from Corinto in Brazil. The nearest quartz-producing locality to Corinto is the village of Tomas Gonzaga, a few kilometers to the west. Specimens from other areas of this sandstone region are often given the locality of Corinto. In Corinto, the quartz industry is more than a century old.
