Description
Large cubic crystals of mauve fluorite (or fluorite) on massive green fluorite. In association, a few rare crystals of beige siderite and sphalerite (or galena??).
Bright, almost intact specimen.
Fluorite crystals from the old Peyrebrune mine in the Tarn department. Today, a quarry “replaces” the mine (Rivet quarry). It is home to a wide variety of mineralogical species.
