Description

In Panasqueira, Portugal, you’ll find alarge tungsten and tin mine and multiple mining concessions that began producing ore in 1898. The mineralized zone is 2,500 m long, varying in width from 400 m to 2,200 m, and continues to a depth of at least 500 m. This is a classic association from this Portuguese deposit, with a centimetric crystal of apatite on wolframite and quartz.
The mineral species include arsenopyrite and zinnwaldite.
Cabinet-sized, the crystals are particularly bright and well arranged.
